A simple suggestion about propositional attitudes

As I see it, the most fundamental propositional attitude is understanding the proposition. Belief, desire, and the rest are just understanding with affirmation, understanding with the hope that it is true, etc.

There appear to be some people with brains that can understand propostions but have no desire to think beyond what is fed them mentally and physically, or no desire to react.

Also, computers solve the most complex symbolic logic equations, again without desire.
