I am the author of C. S. Lewis's Dangerous Idea: In Defense of the Argument from Reason, published by Inter-Varsity Press. I received a Ph.D in philosophy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1989.

Hi
I enjoy all of your postings here. Am trying to dicover intellectual reason to believe in Christianity after many years of drinking, atheism and finally getting sober. I can't explain why I do not have the desire to drink anymore, except to say I asked God to help me even though I said 'I dont think I believe in you, if you are there, please take away my sickening craving.' Then the desire left me. I like all of your posts especially about C.S Lewis. Thankyou again
